Thrive or Survive

Do you want to survive or thrive?

  • To thrive means to get the most out of life and to grow and develop well
  • To survive means to endure or to sustain the effects of and continue to live (to just get by).

I choose thrive. And I think by the time I'm finished with this you will too. Granted thrive can be a difficult course. But to thrive  is well worth the journey.  Learning to thrive rather than just survive takes:

Drive + Focus +Action  this equates to  Change
How do you get there?
  • Stop living in denial.
  • Start caring for yourself.
  • Develop a healthy self-esteem and positive self image.

I realize this a difficult task. Change is difficult. Facing truth is difficult. Here's a fact:
  • You cannot change anyone but yourself. You control you.
The question is "are you willing to put in the time it takes to develop positive traits?" My guess, is yes. Let's get stated:
  • Start seeing your world differently.
  • Build your team.
  • Set goals and be specific.
  • Learn to communicate to yourself and others.
  • Your team will coach you. They will require you to:
  • Take action
  • Be accountable
  • Be respectful
Your team will help you with communications. They will motivate and inspire you and help you step out of the survivor role.  Your team will walk beside on your path to self-discovery. They will pick you up when you fall. They will carry you at times. They will teach you to be your own advocate. They will be waiting anxiously at the finish line to high five you when you accomplish your goal or (s).  Welcome to the P.I.E.S. journey.
